That's Waxed is a waxing business run by Tegan in Hampshire. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website. You can contact us about your data through the contact page or on Instagram.

What we collect

When you book, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the treatments you choose, your appointment times and any notes you choose to add. When you send a message, we collect your name, email address and message. We do not ask for health information through the booking form.

Why we use it

We use your details to take and manage your booking, send confirmations and reminders, and get in touch about your appointment. This is necessary to provide the service you have asked for. We only send marketing emails if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

Payments

If you pay online, your payment is handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run this website: hosting, a secure database, an email delivery service and, if you pay online, Stripe. They only process your information on our instructions. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our legal and tax record keeping obligations, usually up to six years. Website messages are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies needed for it to work, for example to keep the owner signed in to the dashboard. If we add analytics, we will ask for your consent first.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
